Holidays Food Tips to Keep you Looking Trim

It’s seems to be an accepted fact that we all put on weight whilst on holiday. We eat more than usual, try out different local foods, drink more alcohol and eat at different times than we would normally back at home. It may be difficult, being on holiday to keep to a strict regime but sticking to these little tips will help keep those pesky pounds at bay.

* If you’re having lunch or dinner, eat as you would at home; don’t take fries and slices of bread if you wouldn’t at home, and don’t refill at all you can eat buffets just because you can!
* When dining, stick to two courses. For example either a main course and dessert, or starter and a main, but not all three.
* Snack on olives instead of peanuts; an olive (when drained of the excess oil) contains just 3 calories whereas a small handful of peanuts can contain over 150 calories!
