Make Hong Kong one of your travel destinations this year

I may be slightly biased, having roots based in Hong Kong, but it’s one place I’ve travelled to many times which I never tire of. With its expansive skyline, boasting more skyscrapers than any other city in the world (even New York!), it may well be called the Manhattan of the Far East.

As Hong Kong is a sub-tropical island, you may be hit with humid weather or tropical rain depending on what time of the year you visit; I’d recommend going between September and May. During these times you will experience the lowest humidity and temperate weather, perfect for those who can’t stand the heat as during the Summer, temperature can reach 35°C with humidity of 95%!

If you do get caught in this heat however, why not stop by one of the famous street stalls selling a wondrous selection of freshly made iced drinks, refreshing tropical fruits including mango, sugar cane and dragon fruit to cool yourself off?

Oh, and don’t forget to send us a postcard!
