Occupying the kids!
I have just come back from a weeks holiday with my 6 years old. Now he was areally good boy, most of the time but there was the odd occasion when he was a little bored. Can you believe that on holiday? He swam that much I’m surprised he didn’t actually turn into a fish, and played on his DS a little. What I should have packed for him was a pack of playing cards and some travel games – small enough to pack and quite easy to play in your hotel room or even around the pool. Little ones need a constant change of concentration and even though we had a great time, if I’dve just remembered these little things it would have made my life so much easier and the grumps away from my little man !
