Where to go in Malaysia
Does anyone know of any lovely relaxing beach resorts in Malaysia? I seem to have read so much about the place I am a little confused. It’s my own fault I seemed to have digested so much now I have an option about everything I have read. I really need someone to just tell me where to go!!
It wasn’t helped by the fact that last week I watched Rick Steins Far East Sea food Odyssey, that was based in Malaysia, granted he was talking about food but all the locations were busy and built.
Where to stay?
Kuala Lumpur the capital appears to be a very modern and developed city with contemporary high-rises and world-class hotels, glitzy shopping malls, and international cuisine.
Whereas Sabah, East Malaysian state on Borneo Island, has endless beaches and bays, ancient rainforests and amazing plants and animals
Or do we try Penang Island, off the northwest coast of peninsular of Malaysia, that reflects the old history of the island and of times gone by. Bicycle rickshaws peddled by old men, the smell of joss sticks burning and curries sizzling, Penang appears to be exotic and historical.
