Winter Ski Holidays – Hit the Slopes
Now that summer is pretty much behind us, I always enjoy having this time of year to plan my winter ski holiday break. For the past 4 years I have gone on a winter ski holiday in Europe. I love skiing, and have gone on ski holidays to france, skiing in Austria, Italy, and over the Italian border into Switzerland on my last venture.
I bought a pair of ski boots a couple of years ago and they’re brilliant; I had them moulded to my feet so they fit perfectly and its so much better than having to hire a pair of smelly size 9s every time you go away.
My favourite resort for nightlife has to be Kitzbuhel in Austria, with ‘The Londoner’ pub regularly getting voted the best place to go and infact gets voted the best venue in the world for apreski in may of the holiday brochures. The year after Kitzbuhel I went to Tignes in France, next door to Val D’Isere and this was probably the best skiing I have ever done. More recently I went to Cervinia in Italy and crossed the border into Switzerland which again was one of the best pistes I have ever experienced.
If you’re the type of skiier who loves the red and blacks, I’d recommend Tignes/Val D’Isere as your destination for this years ski holiday, or Kitzbuhel for nightlife.
